First off I want to say I am not familiar with all the fancy terminology when describing coffees. I go by sight, taste, and aroma. I read the description of these beans and decided to try them. I am now into my first one pound roast and so far am extremely happy with it. I prefer a darker roast and after several mornings with the roast I feel it is one of the better beans I have tried since I started home roasting.
The flavor of the brew is nice and strong, I use a special manual only brewer that allows me to control almost all aspects of the brew cycle, with a very nice aftertaste. The aroma while brewing makes it hard to brew it slow enough for the best taste. I just want to dive in and get started. Also when I open the container to get the beans for the morning grind the aroma is so good. Right now I put this behind only a good Blue Mountain bean, which has pretty much priced itself out of my inventory, and at this price it is well worth trying.
